he Circle of Excellence was honoured to receive from 15 to 16 November last, Mr. Amadou Cissé | Executive Director, of the African Institute for the Transfer of Funds (A.I.R), his delegation, as well as several representatives of associations of the African Diaspora from Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Sweden, England, Norway, Spain, Belgium.

The African Institute for Remittances (AIR), in collaboration with African Diaspora organisations in Europe, has created the Diaspora Engagement Forum (DEF).

It is a platform that brings together experts, AU and EU authorities and allows the diaspora to express themselves and explore the limits and opportunities that the funds they send represent for financing inclusive development in Africa.

As part of the preparation of the forum to be held in Brussels on 28 and 29 May 2020, the Circle of Excellence involves other associations and members of the African Diaspora in Belgium.

The Circle of Excellence thus shows its attachment to solidarity and collaboration within this diaspora, around common themes. Above all, it expresses its deep gratitude to those associations that have accepted its invitation.
